Glamour

I was acting deputy for a year in 2006. Have subsequently written reports and advice features for Glamour ranging from sex and wellbeing to health and relationships.

“Since working together on the launch of Sugar magazine in 1994, Marina and I have collaborated many times in one capacity or another. And no matter what magazine – from Sugar, More, New Woman and now of course Glamour - Marina’s ideas are always pitch-perfect. She’s that rare breed of freelance journalist who doesn’t send the same selection of ‘cookie cutter’ ideas to several different magazines, but understands completely the need to target different magazine readers in totally different ways. Similarly her copy is always spot-on and fulfills the brief and she’s someone I always call on if I need a freelance editor, because you can just breathe a sigh of relief that you have an expert in your corner. Her success as an editor and author is down to her fantastic wit, creativity and knack for brilliant ideas”. Jo Elvin, Editor, Glamour UK

Launched in 2001, within six months Glamour was selling more copies at UK newsstand than any other monthly magazine in its sector.
